On your bike!

This month in an effort to raise money for Cancer Research UK, John will be taking part in their Cycle 300 event.
“Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further. Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.”
This is a topic close to many of our hearts and with the recent, escential shift in focus toward the COVID-19 pandemic, research and treatment in other areas such as cancer has taken a back seat. With this in mind we’re sending John out on his bike in a bid to raise money for Cancer Research UK.
Already a regular cyclist we’ve insisted John doesn’t get away with this being too easy, therefore his 300 miles will be cycled over the super hilly Dartmoor National Park! Featuring 16% hill climbs, stubborn roadside sheep and an almost constant headwind it should certainly prove challenging enough.
